People are really amazing out there.  I stumbled upon this artist’s rendition of an image of Janelle Monae I took for Paper Magazine during some routine image googling.  Kerry Gibbons is her name and she actually did this in Photoshop as an online pastels tutorial. Nice job K.   Guess I won’t sick my lawyers on you simply ’cause I like it

New Year lookbook for Lulus.com.  This time I had the pleasure to work with Ksenia.  Hailing from Russia by way of NYC she is hitting the ground running since moving to LA just under a month ago.  She was a giant as you can see above with mylsef and Lulus owner Debra.  I’m 6′6″!

Another beautiful day in Oxnard, CA.  Art master Adam Harteau, enlists the help of his 1 year old daughter Colette building the set of our Lovers + Friends Summer 2012 shoot.  I run a baby friendly set…  Bring your baby, we’ll put em to work!

Photoshoot for brand Laugh Cry Repeat.  I can’t describe what an awesome day this was.  Marina Del Rey was beautiful.  To think all these years living in LA and I had never been!  We had the luxury to be graced by the one and only supermodel Sydney Roper.  You could never bottle the magic that exudes out of her.  And you could never air on live television the words that exude out of her mouth.  She was hands down the most entertaining and unpredictable model I’ve ever worked with. Can’t even explain….

Here’s a nice guy, Cliff the Fire Chief.  I met him downtown while attending a party in the Oviatt Penthouse.  He was pretty much hiding in a corner of the stairwell, scared me as I rounded the bend.  He was there to keep the party under control.  I asked if he minded being in the midst of a bunch of wild partygoers, he just chuckled and said nope.  He loves his job.  Nice guy.
